About me

Ali Anwar works as a Principle Research Fellow at the Faculty of Applied Engineering of University of Antwerp. Ali obtained his Masters and PhD degrees in Control Science and Engineering from Harbin Insitutute of Technology in China. He graduated with his doctorate in December 2019, since the beginning of 2020, he is associated with University of Antwerp. Ali also works with IDLab as a senior researcher where he leads the team of context aware control systems. His research interests lie at the intersection of robotics, computer vision and artificial intelligence. Ali actively reviews for international peer reviewed conferences and journals including IEEE annual conference of industrial electronics society, IEEE transations on industrial electronics, IEEE transactions on industrial informatics, Neural Networks, Neurocomputing and IEEE-ASME transactions on mechatronics.
